The Medical Assistant (MA) Lead ensures the provision of high quality patient care, assists in daily problem solving, and in the supervision and development of Medical Assistants (MAs). The MA Lead ensures Medical Providers receive sufficient support and assistance.

Clinic Hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM! (Actual hours may vary depending on business need)

Educational Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalencyGraduate from a recognized Medical Assistant ProgramQualifications
Current, nationally recognized Medical assistant Certification or Registration requiredCurrent and valid CPR cardKnowledge of medical terminology requiredGood communication and customer service skills requiredKnowledge of CLIA and OSHA guidelinesKnowledge of sterilization and disinfection proceduresKnowledge of HIPAA laws and ability to adhere to confidentiality policiesKnowledge of current medical assistant best practices and procedures including EKG and basic drugsAbility to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast-paced environmentExcellent time management skillsWorking knowledge of patient management software and basic Microsoft office products. EPIC PreferredAbility to identify and apply proper communication methods in patient instructionAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to interpret and read documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manualsStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcellent telephone and customer service skillsSkills to implement good safety practices that prevent exposure to known workplace hazards and the necessary action needed when exposedSkill in applying and modifying principles, methods and techniques of a medical assistant to provide ongoing patient careStrong attention to detail skillsPhysical requirements
