Summary
The primary role of the Graphic Design – Pro Sports Project Coordinator is to provide comprehensive administrative and project management support to the Pro Sports Graphic Design team. This position is responsible for scheduling, logging, tracking, and reporting on all graphic design projects in alignment with GFS systems, standards, and other business requirements associated with the Pro Sports Graphic Design team within the Art Studio.
Serving as a key liaison between the Brand, Sales, and Pro Sports Graphic Design team, the Project Coordinator manages incoming requests through the SKOR (Sketch Online Request) system, as well as oversees tasks involving the ORACLE database and Art Studio systems, ensuring seamless support for creative and production efforts. Additionally, this role includes maintaining and managing the calendar for the Mid-Tier and Mass retail channels for Pro Sports.
Essential Duties
- Serves as main administrator and super user of the art request system, SKOR (Sketch Online Request), an automated system that enables external sales reps to request new art sketches and projects from the Graphic Design teams to support the sales effort.
- Acts a liaison between sales representatives and the Graphic Designers per SKOR related issues or questions.
- Logs and completes new Art Numbers for seasonal sample and customer samples via ORACLE. Knowledge (or training in) of our Oracle system is key.
- Accesses and runs art-oriented reports from the Oracle data base (art history reports) as well as the SKOR system as needed.
- Assists in coordination of various Art Studio projects as needed.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft, (Word, Power Point, Planner)
- Maintains calendar for ALL of Pro Sports to ensure deadlines and deliverables are met.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree in media, communications, graphic design, or other related field
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Planner and Excel)
- A minimum of 1 year experience managing project due dates, timetables, ship dates and other aspects of project management, OR
- At least 1 year experience in project administration
