Position Description
The Enterprise Program Management Team is responsible for leading the Company’s large, multi-disciplinary strategic initiatives. This includes primarily initiatives such as automation planning, large facility construction and planning and executing the transition from a fossil fuel-based electric generating system to a renewable-based energy future, as described in the Company’s recent Integrated Resource Plan.
The student intern should have an interest in learning about project and program management, the energy industry, the energy trading market and renewable energy issues. The intern will be expected to 1) participate in planning sessions for various initiatives. 2) Support project team members in data collection and dissemination. 3) apply project and program management principles to task delivery.
The intern should be seeking a degree in information services, engineering, economics, business administration, or sustainable development and must possess analytical skills and expand upon those skills as part of the internship. The intern will contribute to the success of the Company’s strategic initiatives.
Position-Related Responsibilities
Assist the Company’s execution of large, strategic initiatives. Attend regular and ad hoc team and project meetings, work with program managers to compile data and communications. Candidate must be willing to develop a strong understanding of program and project management fundamentals, change leadership principles, and foundational aspects of the energy industry.

Requirements
- Must be a full-time college student, at least 12 credit hours, in an accredited University or community college and maintain a good academic standing.
- Student must be pursuing a degree in a relevant field, such as information systems, engineering, applied math or science, economics, business or public administration, or sustainable development, with a graduation date no earlier than May 2026.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during regular business hours; Up to 40 hours may be available during the summer and school breaks.
