The Role
As an Interior Designer, you will conceptualize and execute immersive, memorable spaces. In collaboration with the Studio Principal, you will blend storytelling, spatial design and FF&E design to create dynamic, signature workplace environments.
As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with architects, interior designers, project managers, and client stakeholders to bring unique design experiences to life, on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Concept Development - develop innovative design concepts that elevate, enhance and expand interior and brand designs.
Spatial Design - fully-design layouts, elevations, furniture plans and interactive elements that enhance our clients' employee and visitor experiences.
Visualization - produce mood boards, sketches, 2D and 3D models, renderings and technical drawings to communicate and get approvals for design concepts.
Project Management - manage design scopes, timelines, budgets and deliverables, including subcontracted support, to meet client deadlines without compromising quality.
Trend Research - stay informed about industry trends, sustainability practices and emerging technologies to continually elevate the Studio's creativity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Industrial Design, or a related field
- Proficient in interior and FF&E design in commercial, workplace or hospitality sectors
- Keen eye for sourcing unique products and bespoke materials
- Experience creating accurate and detailed Construction Drawing sets, 2D & 3D renderings and other related visualization tools
- Knowledge of, and experience with, FF&E
- Industrial, product & / or furniture design a plus
- Experience with interior graphics and experiential design a plus
- Understanding of color theory and its application in design
