General Summary :
This position is a trainee role that provides technology-related support (primarily telephone support) to Colonial Life producers for their laptop, email, web access, specific Colonial sales tools, and enrollment systems software, as well as providing support to policyholders and potential policyholders with technical issues related to their access of the Harmony enrollment system.
Existing remote employees and field-based employees are eligible to apply.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Identify and resolve hardware, software or enrollment system issues in a professional and timely manner.
Document issues and solutions thoroughly for record keeping and trending analysis.
Adhere to, support, and promote Colonial’s data security policy
Support and promote team work in meeting departmental goals and with all interactions with team mates.
May perform other duties as assigned.
Job Specifications
Strong knowledge of computers, current Windows Operating system versions and Microsoft office suite.
Ability to troubleshoot hardware / software issues.
Strong knowledge of the Internet and connectivity support.
Excellent communication skills.
Customer service experience.
Good judgment and ability to think logically.
The ability to work 10am until 7pm EST.

The base salary range for applicants for this position is listed below. Unless actual salary is indicated above in the job description, actual pay will be based on skill, geographical location and experience.
36,000.00-$68,000.00
Additionally, Unum offers a portfolio of benefits and rewards that are competitive and comprehensive including healthcare benefits (health, vision, dental), insurance benefits (short & long-term disability), performance-based incentive plans, paid time off, and a 401(k) retirement plan with an employer match up to 5% and an additional 4.5% contribution whether you contribute to the plan or not. All benefits are subject to the terms and conditions of individual Plans.
