What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live Events Manager position at Unwell?
First, the myth … Gen Z grew up so glued to their phones that they don’t like socializing in-person. Fact is, Gen Z loves IRL. At Unwell, we’ve proven that the key to engaging Gen Z offline is creating the right environment that inspires an in-person connection.
For example, most brands don’t equate The 150th Running of The Kentucky Derby with Gen Z culture, yet our partnership produced over-capacity crowds as Unwell talent Alex Cooper and Alix Earle dominated Churchill Downs as well as social coverage. Unwell’s previous three-day pop-up at SXSW generated more than 20,000 requests for invites from only one day of social promotion. And, The Unwell Tour, featuring “Call Her Daddy’s” Alex Cooper sold out seven shows in six cities; including The Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden.
All of this is to say; we need help. Unwell, the premiere Gen Z female community, is expanding its experiential goals and seeking a Los Angeles-based Live Events Manager to lead our evolution. Under the guidance of our CMO, you will be responsible for all aspects of Unwell’s IRL events from experience ideation through execution and post-mortem analysis.
