Description :
Work in a fast-paced emergency department providing quality care.
No travel pairs or block scheduling is allowed.
Blackout dates for requested time off are from May 1st to May 5th.
Position involves floating to any unit as required.
The emergency department consists of 24 main beds, 7 fast-track beds, 5 observation beds, and 7 hallway beds.
Patient ratios are 4 / 5 to 1, based on acuity.
Essential equipment includes defibrillators, pacemaker interrogators, Dopplers, ultrasound, A-lines, and CO2 monitoring.
The electronic medical record system used is Cerner.
Preferred but not mandatory skills include LVAD experience, CEN certification, CCRN certification, and TNCC certification, which can be obtained during the assignment.
Looking for candidates with a positive attitude, team player mentality, and a jovial personality.
Dress code requires galaxy blue scrub shirt and pants, with the option to wear black pants.
