Job Description
Job Title : Registered Nurse
Job Specialty : Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum of 2 years
License : Registered Nurse (RN)
Certifications : NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS)
Must-Have : May require floating to another mixed acuity floor
Job Description :
- Provide care in an Oncology, Comfort Care, and Mixed Acuity unit.
- Work within a mixed acuity setting, including Med-Surg and PCU patients.
- Collaborate effectively with a team to ensure patient safety and quality of care.
- Maintain a patient ratio of 1 : 5 or 1 : 6 in a 32-bed unit.
- Utilize standard medical equipment and electronic medical records (EMR) with Cerner.
- Abide by dress code requirements : Galaxy Blue top, Galaxy Blue or black pants.
- Refrain from wearing unacceptable attire such as sweatshirts, Crocs, or shoes with holes, and ensure jackets are scrub color or black without writing.
