Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Specialty : Psychiatry - Adolescent Behavioral Health / Psych

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM

Experience : 2 years of behavioral health experience

License : RN License

Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS)

Must-Have :

At least 2 years of behavioral health experience as a tech
Flu vaccination

Job Description :

Provide nursing care focused on adolescent patients with behavioral health needs.

Adhere to patient ratios of 1 : 8 during the day and varying ratios at night.

Work on a secure 23-bed unit equipped for patient safety and care.

Utilize Cerner for electronic medical records documentation.

Maintain professionalism and adhere to the dress code, wearing royal blue scrubs and ensuring nails are at a reasonable length (1 / 4 inch); no facial piercings or crocs are allowed.

Work every 3rd Saturday and Sunday, with no on-call requirements.

Supportive role in a private, not-for-profit behavioral health care setting, offering a full continuum of services for inpatients with specialized programs for adolescents with complex needs.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide integrated treatment for co-occurring disorders.

Engage in treatment alternatives, including partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs.
