Job Description
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN)
Job Specialty : Emergency Department
Job Duration : 13 weeks
Shift : 7 : 00 PM - 7 : 00 AM
Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week
Experience : Minimum of 2 years
License : RN License
Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIH
Must-Have : Excellent emergency department (critical care) experience
Job Description :
- Work as part of a team in a dynamic emergency department.
- Provide care for trauma, orthopedic, neurological, burn, and medical patients.
- Collaborate effectively with other clinicians in a Level 1 Trauma and Academic Teaching facility.
- Maintain patient ratios of 1 : 4, ensuring quality care and safety.
- Operate equipment such as Plum 360 and use Cerner for electronic medical records.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Comply with the dress code of Galaxy Blue attire or Galaxy Blue top with black bottom.
This position does not require on-call duties or floating to other units. Weekend hours are required every third weekend.
