Program Overview
Our internship program is an exciting, semester-long experience designed to offer talented and motivated students and recent graduates the chance to work with our dynamic team of professionals. Interns will rotate through various departments over the course of the summer, gaining hands-on experience, mentorship from experienced professionals, and exposure to real-world projects aligned with their interests and career aspirations.
Internship assignments will rotate through departments such as Account Management, Business Development, Operations, Fashion, and People Operations, providing a rich learning experience with cross-functional exposure.

Summer Internship, NY
Program Overview
Our internship program is an exciting, semester-long experience designed to offer talented and motivated students and recent graduates the chance to work with our dynamic team of professionals. Interns will rotate through various departments over the course of the summer, gaining hands-on experience, mentorship from experienced professionals, and exposure to real-world projects aligned with their interests and career aspirations.
Internship assignments will rotate through departments such as Account Management, Business Development, Operations, Fashion, and People Operations, providing a rich learning experience with cross-functional exposure.
- The internship program will run for approximately 12 weeks during the 2025 summer semester, running from June 6 - August 29.
- The scheduled hours may range from 32-40 hours per week.
- Work will occur in a hybrid remote/ in-office arrangement as schedules and the needs of the business dictate. In-office work will take place at UOVO Long Island City in Queens, New York, and at UOVO Evergreen in Brooklyn, New York.
Interns will be assigned to projects within UOVO's Account Management, Business Development, Operations, Fashion, and People Teams, encouraging creativity, partnership, problem-solving, and execution. Assignments may include:
- Account Management
- Attend internal AM meetings, assist with inventory lists, and support special projects.
- Shadow estimators; observe site visits and learn estimate creation.
- Work with International on principles of international shipping.
- Business Development
- Shadow BD administrative team and support drafting agreements.
- Join sales reps for shadowing and sales calls.
- Develop a targeted outreach campaign; build prospect lists in NetSuite and draft copy for outreach.
- Operations
- Attend internal operations meetings and perform daily admin duties.
- Shadow Technical Operations team; support scheduling and work orders.
- Shadow art handlers/drivers within the facility and in the field.
- Fashion
- Overview of the Fashion business; rotate 1–2 days each in Wardrobe Management, Photography, and Operations.
- Work with Ops Management, attend key meetings, and support special projects.
- People Team
- Observe onboarding/offboarding, compliance practices, and policy documentation.
- Assist with L&D initiatives, explore the LMS, and complete eLearns.
- Reflective learning and continued support.
- Benefits, Payroll & Interviewing
- Shadow Benefits/Payroll admin; review compliance and support documents.
- Attend mock interview training, conduct resume screenings, and observe recruiter debriefs.
- Capstone Project
- Intern presents the final project to the HR team (e.g., onboarding microsite, branding review, or intern experience strategy).
- 10-minute presentation followed by Q&A.
- Pursuing a degree in business, communications, the arts, or a related field (or a recent graduate)
- Familiarity with Google Suite, MS Windows, Sheets/Excel, and PowerPoint/Slides
- Strong communication, writing, and editing skills
- A creative, analytical, and entrepreneurial spirit
- Interest in the art, fashion, or wine industries is a plus
