We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated On-call Direct Support Professional to join our team.
In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with disabilities or seniors in a group home or personal care home setting. Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with daily living activities, including meal preparation and personal care.
- Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper documentation of medication administration.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment within the group home or personal care home, adhering to hygiene standards.
- Support individuals in developing life skills and engaging in community activities.
- Monitor and report any changes in the health or behavior of individuals to the appropriate staff members.
- Implement individualized care plans and participate in team meetings to discuss progress and challenges.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, fostering positive relationships with those you assist.
