What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Upatoi Community Church?
Upatoi Community Church is looking for an administrative assistant who can work independently, is creative, and resourceful. We need a friendly voice to answer phone calls and a friendly face to greet office visitors. Applicants should be well versed in word/excel. This is a part-time position; working hours would be Monday-Thursday 9am - 1pm.
Job Qualifications:
Ø General computer knowledge
Ø Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, Outlook, Google apps
Ø Ability to administrate and update websites
Ø Clear, professional, and caring communicator in spoken word and print
Ø Good proof-reading skills and knowledge of proper grammar
Ø Strong organizational skills and able to multitask
Personal Qualities
Ø Team player who can take directions well and complete projects in a timely and professional manner
Ø Able to work independently and collaboratively
Ø Responsible, dependable, punctual, a quick learner and flexible
Ø A good listener
Job Type: Part-Time
Expected Hours: 9AM – 1:00 PM (4 hours a day – Monday thru Thursday)
Pay: $15.00 per hour
