Position Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both commercial and industrial HVAC systems, with extensive experience working on a variety of large equipment, including chillers, boilers, and refrigeration units. The role requires expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems, including those over 25 tons.
Key Responsibilities :
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, and large tonnage equipment.
- Service and repair hot water, steam, and chilled water systems.
- Work with water source or "applied equipment" to ensure efficient operation.
- Handle VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems, ensuring proper installation and operation.
- Perform refrigeration work, including the maintenance and repair of walk-in coolers, freezers, and ice machines.
- Conduct regular inspections, diagnostics, and repairs on HVAC equipment over 25 tons.
- Manage and maintain HVAC controls to optimize system performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and HVAC codes.
- Work independently or as part of a team to diagnose and solve technical issues.
