Position Overview
The Clerical Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office with a strong focus on attention to detail and organizational efficiency. The role involves various tasks including classifying documents using MAVRO and Docuware software, printing and mailing documents, and scanning documents while classifying their types and electronically routing them to the correct file source. Responsibilities also include processing W-9 forms and adding or updating entities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database. Additionally, the position provides support or coverage for main office receptionists, which includes routing customer calls to the correct internal business unit, personal calls to the correct extension, and handling solicitation calls. The role also involves responding to customer inquiries related to forged checks or claim drafts. The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Essential Job Functions
- Ability to index 450 documents per day with a 98% accuracy ratio
- Typing

Required Knowledge, Skills & Ability
- Ability to navigate Mavro Interface, D5 Docuware, Atlas Client, and Docuware Viewer
- Thorough knowledge of UPCIC scanning procedures and workflow
- Positive work record and evaluations
- Exemplary attendance record
- Reading, writing, typing, and computing skills necessary to do the job
- Possesses some degree of creativity and latitude
- Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
- Must have interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate –listening, speaking and writing skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Dedicated and separate high-speed Internet with at least 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds: DSL or Cable (no wireless or satellite ISPs allowed)
