Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in retail stores. This role requires a strong understanding of plumbing principles, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Duties
- Drive a company truck to service calls and install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures throughout retail stores.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools to assemble and install various plumbing components.
- Perform drain clearing using an auger or drain snake.
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues or necessary repairs in existing plumbing systems.
- Collaborate with store personnel and provide feedback regarding status of repairs.
- Apply basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety regulations.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Plumbing Technician or similar role is preferred.
- Experience working on commercial retail properties.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
- Proficiency in using power tools and drain clearing equipment
