Actuarial Internship Summer 2025

Upland Capital Group offers competitive, compensated internships for college students interested in a career in specialty insurance through our internship program.

This internship allows students to participate in a paid summer program with Upland and learn different aspects of both the insurance industry and the operational environment of today.

Students will participate in an approximate 9-week program aimed at learning and training through hands-on experience, mentorship and the opportunity to network with company executives and leaders.

Criteria For Participation/Eligibility

• Undergraduate or graduate students with anticipated graduation dates of Winter 2025/Spring 2026
• Majoring in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics or related field
• Completed and passed one actuarial exam
• Strong Python knowledge and experience
• Basic understanding of the insurance industry, claims settlement process knowledge/experience preferred
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 preferred
• Availability of participating full-time in the 9-week program with minimal absences
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must be willing and able to travel for meetings during the work week
