Position summary : Directs all campus operations of the skilled nursing, assisted living and home health service lines and to carry out their purpose in compliance with all federal, state, and local laws, organizational mission and policies. Works cooperatively and respectfully with elders, coworkers, families, visitors, and volunteers to create a positive and pleasant environment. All tasks are performed in accordance with current standards, policies, guidelines and regulations and in a safe and efficient manner.
Essential skills and experience :
- Must possess or able to attain a current, unencumbered Tennessee Nursing Home Administrator's license.
- Minimum of ten years of administrative management experience in a long-term care facility and senior living.
- Leadership : demonstrate ability to lead people and get results
- Planning : an ability to think ahead and plan over a one-to-five year time span
- Management : the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Technical skills in administrative management, quality assurance and budget control
- Financial experience to include reading, understanding and managing financial reports
- Working knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer proficiency, including Word, Excel, EMR software
- Conflict analysis and resolution at both a strategic and a functional level
- Satisfactory completion of post-offer, pre-employment physical as required.
