Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer camp experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a commitment to creating a safe, fun, and educational environment. Counselors will lead various activities, ensuring that campers engage in enriching experiences while fostering personal growth and teamwork.
Responsibilities
- Educate campers through engaging activities that promote learning and development.
- Implement daily schedules, including arts and crafts, theater, and games.
- Supervise campers during all activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Foster a positive camp culture by encouraging teamwork, respect, and inclusivity among campers.
- Assist in managing camper behavior through positive reinforcement techniques.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in settings such as daycare, tutoring, or babysitting is preferred.
- Background in dance or theater is a plus
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with children of various ages.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also demonstrating leadership qualities.
- Knowledge of special education practices is beneficial but not required.
- Must be enthusiastic, patient, and adaptable to changing situations.
