Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students of all ages. This role involves teaching dance techniques, choreography, and performance skills while promoting creativity and self-expression among students.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
- Instruct students in various dance styles, ensuring proper technique and form.
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively, fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
- Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills.
- Organize and prepare students for performances, including rehearsals and showcases.
- Collaborate with other instructors to create interdisciplinary programs that may include theater or special education components.
- Maintain a safe and clean studio environment, ensuring all equipment is properly cared for.
- Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress, expectations, and any concerns.
Experience
- Proven experience in dance instruction or related fields such as early childhood education or theater is preferred.
- Strong skills in behavior management, and classroom management are essential.
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including those with special needs, is a plus.
- A genuine passion for educating others through the art of dance.

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
