UPMC in Central Pa is hiring an APP to oversee the Neonatology APP Fellowship program. This position will require 10% (0.1 FTE) administrative responsibilities.
Educational/Knowledge Requirements:
The individual must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care and/or interact appropriately to the patients served as specified below. They must also demonstrate knowledge of the principles relative to the patient's age-specific needs and to provide the care needs as described in the department policy and procedures.
Minimum 3 years of experience as a certified nurse practitioner or physician assistant required.
A demonstrated excellence in clinical care delivery and professional leadership
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in a positive manner with system-wide executive leadership, -Advanced Practice Providers, physicians, and departmental management.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize, meets deadlines, complete multiple tasks in a limited period of time and handle large volumes of paperwork efficiently.
Strong technical, analytical, and judgment skills to interpret regulations.
