Job Description
UPMC Western Behavioral Health is hiring a Behavioral Health Therapist Associate to support Twin Lakes in Somerset. PA.
The Behavioral Health Therapist Associate will provide clinical treatment services to the targeted populations, including a comprehensive needs assessment and provision of case management services including assessment, service linkage, resource development, coordination of all services received, and advocacy.
The shift for this position will vary between 8 : 30 am - 5 : 00 pm and 9 : 30 am - 6 : 00 pm depending on staffing needs. The incumbent will also work rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities : n \n
- Client Engagement : Connects with potential clients, monitors and addresses engagement barriers.
- Data Collection & Documentation : Gathers necessary data, conducts assessments, and maintains accurate case records.
- Treatment Planning & Implementation : Collaborates on treatment plans, updates based on patient needs, and completes clinical documentation.
- Therapy & Education : Provides individual / group therapy, engages families, and educates on recovery.
- Team Collaboration : Works with treatment team, attends meetings, and coordinates continuity of care.
- Service Referrals : Refers patients to appropriate services and community programs.
- Quality Assurance : Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Education in school counseling, or related field required.
- Completion of a human services related internship / practicum or 1 year of relevant human services experience.
- Knowledge of psychiatric evaluation and assessment process preferred
