The Associate Campaign Strategist is involved in the planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns that support sales goals, enhance member and/or provider experience and satisfaction, and build brand recognition. The Associate Campaign Strategist will collaborate with colleagues within marketing & communications, health & productivity, account management, third-party affiliates, and other lines of business to help create campaigns that meet goals and objectives. The Associate Campaign Strategist will assist with the development of campaign-level strategies and tactical execution plans that drive acquisition, welcome campaigns, educate & engage members, employers, providers, and/or brokers. They will assist with developing campaigns focused on acquisition, retention, provider or member education, and engaging new members-both for UPMC Health Plan and other lines of business-on benefit plan designs, new member outreach, health & wellness engagement activity, closing gaps in care, and update in the utilization of tools and technologies. The primary responsibilities of the Associate Campaign Strategist will be coordinating, executing, and monitoring campaign planning, campaign implementation, and campaign evaluation/analytics. The Associate Campaign Strategist will engage with creative services and other channel managers as needed.
The Marketing Communications Department is based in downtown Pittsburgh at the US Steel Tower. This is a Monday through Friday daylight position. This is a hybrid role, with some remote/work-from-home privileges.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage campaign calendar and deliverables along the marketing value chain of attract, convert, welcome, engage and retain.
- Ensure coordination among constituents throughout the course of the campaign.
- Assist with the identification and details for appropriate marketing channels/tactics that achieve desired results for each campaign.
- Collaborate with third-party affiliates on development and delivery of marketing collateral & digital communications that educate, inform, and engage members.
- Drafting marketing strategies and implementation plans into a cohesive creative brief that internal marketing and/or external creative resources can execute against.
- Work with the Campaign Strategist to develop and execute strategies and tactical marketing plans that engage, education and retain members, drive demand, and support revenue and business goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, public relations, business or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of marketing, marketing communications or public relations experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare market preferred.
- Results oriented: demonstrated success in overcoming obstacles and launching campaigns on time and on budget.
- Experience and demonstrable results in execution and measuring marketing campaigns.
- Online/social/digital marketing knowledge a plus.
