Responsibilities:

• • • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
    • Provide compassionate patient care, including bathing, feeding, mobility assistance, and toileting.
    • Perform essential clinical tasks like vital signs, blood glucose testing, specimen collection, and wound care.
    • Assist with advanced skills such as IV and Foley catheter insertion/removal, phlebotomy, EKGs, and telemetry monitoring.
    • Support patient safety by monitoring and applying restraints per protocol.
    • Collaborate with RNs to report changes in patient status and provide education to patients and families.
    • Ensure proper use and reporting of medical equipment malfunctions.
    • Participate in department initiatives, quality improvement, and professional development.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and follow all hospital policies and safety procedures.
    • Take initiative, problem-solve, and contribute to a positive team environment.
