Responsibilities:
- Interpret physician orders to prepare and dispense medications in compliance with regulations.
- Report suspected adverse drug reactions promptly.
- Maintain the formulary and promote rational drug therapy.
- Review patient medication records for allergies, interactions, and duplications.
- Supervise pharmacy staff, including technicians and interns.
- Follow all regulatory, professional, and quality standards in pharmaceutical care.
- Clarify unclear or incomplete orders with physicians and nurses.
- Provide drug information and education to healthcare professionals and pharmacy students.
