UPMC Hamot is seeking a Professional Staff Nurse to join the CVICU team!

We are looking for an experienced full-time RN to support our CVICU. The UPMC Hamot CVICU is a 16-bed unit located on the second floor of the new patient care tower. The exceptional care provided in this unit contributes to UPMC Hamot’s certification as a Comprehensive Cardiac Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center. The CVICU also holds the Gold Level Beacon Award of Excellence, recognizing both excellence in patient care and an outstanding work environment.
Patient Populations:
- Cardiac Surgery: CABG, MVR, AVR, TVR, TAVR
- Thoracic Surgery
- Vascular Surgery and Minimally Invasive Interventions
- Cardiogenic Shock
- Cardiac Arrest and Critical Arrhythmias
- Cardiac Assist Devices (IABP, Impella)
- Ischemic Strokes
- Hemorrhagic Strokes (without intervention)

Responsibilities:
