We’re seeking a full-time Surgery Scheduler to join our urologic practice. In this exciting role, you’ll be responsible for managing schedules for both adult and pediatric patients, ensuring efficient patient flow, and enhancing the overall patient experience. With the ability to work from home one day a week, you’ll have the perfect balance of flexibility and hands-on engagement. Your role will support both the urologic team and pediatric office, filling in at the front desk as needed. This fast-paced environment offers opportunities to collaborate closely with providers, nurses, and administrative staff to maintain smooth operations and improve patient care.

In this role, there are opportunities to -
- Coordinate patient scheduling for inpatient and outpatient surgical procedures.
- Work with the department to address and resolve procedural and operational issues.
- Monitor patient follow-up through the Refract Tracker and EPIC systems.
- Prepare and forward necessary admission reservations, demographics, and insurance information to hospitals.
- Collaborate with hospital staff to obtain approval for patient admissions.
- Discuss and arrange financial matters, including collecting pre-payments prior to surgery.
- Ensure informed consent is signed by patients before procedures.
- Provide pre- and post-operative instructions according to specific service guidelines.
- Coordinate patient education seminars and schedule physicians accordingly.
- Collect data for research studies and special projects as assigned.
Salary : $18 - $27
