Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Bilingual Food Manufacturing Production Supervisor to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will oversee daily production activities within our food manufacturing facility, ensuring efficient operations, maintaining high standards of food safety, and leading a team of production workers. This role requires a proactive, hands-on leader who is fluent in both English and Spanish, with strong knowledge of food manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the food production floor, ensuring optimal efficiency, safety, and quality standards are maintained.
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of production employees to meet and exceed performance goals.
- Ensure all production processes comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HACCP, GMP, FDA).
- Monitor product quality and address any deviations or production issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain and track inventory levels, ordering materials as needed to ensure smooth production.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving production equipment issues.
- Foster a positive, cooperative team environment and promote continuous improvement in production processes.
- Prepare reports on production metrics, labor costs, and other key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with other departments (Quality, Maintenance, etc.) to meet overall production targets.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide coaching for team development.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in a food manufacturing production environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Fluency in both English and Spanish is a must.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
- Thorough knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control, and production processes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary.
