What are the responsibilities and job description for the Leasing Agent position at Upper Cumberland Apartment Complex?
We are currently looking for a self-motivated, energetic, Leasing Agent for our expanding apartment communities in Cookeville, TN. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a multi-family apartment community, knowledge of Fair Housing laws, and will possess strong communication and customer service skills.
This position supports the Property with completion of day-to-day activities in the Company’s best interest to ensure the property is rented to the fullest capacity in accordance with the Company Operations Guide and Policies and Procedures Manuals.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: preparing available units each morning for showings, answering the phones, assisting prospects and current residents with questions/concerns, completing leasing paperwork, posting notices, entering resident information into the system. All employees at the property are responsible for maintaining the safe and clean appearance of our property, grounds, units, pool and laundry facilities. This may include standard housekeeping functions of common areas such as picking up litter, wiping down surfaces, vacuuming and sweeping, and notifying the appropriate person of repairs needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must pass background check & drug screening (post-offer)
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must be available to work week-end rotation and overtime as needed
- Must have professional appearance
- Able to take initiative and work productively with minimal supervision
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook necessary
