Our dental office is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant with sales experience to join our team! As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide exceptional support to our dentists, hygienists, and other office staff to ensure the smooth operation of our practice.
**Responsibilities:**
* Manage the front desk, including answering phones, greeting patients, and scheduling appointments
* Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient use of clinical time
* Prepare treatment rooms and maintain organized filing system
* Assist with medical records, billing, and insurance claims
* Handle patient billing and collection calls
* Prepare reports and administrative tasks as needed
* Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion
* Provide exceptional customer service to patients and other healthcare professionals
* Participate in staff meetings and contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts
**Requirements:**
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
* 1-2 years of experience in a medical or dental office setting
* 1-2 years of experience in sales (you have to deal with new patients)
* Proficiency in dental software (e.g. Dentrix) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)* Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
* Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred* Well-dressed, neat and punctuality are required at this job role.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
* Dental assisting experience or certification
* Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
* Bilingualism (English/Spanish) or ability to communicate effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds
