Summary:
Upper Great Lakes Family Health (UGLFH) is seeking a Authorization Referral Speciali st to work as a patient advocate managing prior authorizations and referrals for multiple medical services.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling services, communicating with insurance companies, and obtaining pre-approval of specific medications, therapies, devices, office visits and procedures.
- Process, document and track referrals and prior authorizations for a variety of medical services

Job Qualifications:
- Knowledge of medical terminology and/or CPT/ICD-10 coding, preferred.
- Experience utilizing an electronic medical record system.
- Possesses a basic level of written and verbal communication skills, computational and computer skills and mathematical knowledge typically acquired through completion of a high school program.
Salary : $500
