POSITION TITLE : Food Service Assistant Manager

REPORTS TO : Director of Food Service

Location : Assignments will be made based upon needs of the District / Food Services Department

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT : 186 school days, 7 hours per day, begining the start of the 2024-2025 school year

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Food Service experience
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with others as part of a team.
  • Must have good organizational skills, maintain confidentiality and be flexible.
  • Must be Serv-Safe Certified, or willing to gain certification within 30 days of hire.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • Day to day operation of the cafeteria including menu planning, record keeping and inventory
  • Work with food services team in providing meals for the students at the school
  • Provides oversight and assists with preparation / cooking of all foods, based on the monthly menus
  • Provides assistance in cashiering, as needed
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Food Service Director.

  • FBI Fingerprint Clearance (Act 114)
  • School Personnel Health Form (Physical and TB test)
  • PDE 6004 Form (Act 24)
  • Sexual Misconduct / Abuse Disclosure Release Form(s) (Act 168)
