Job description
URM is looking for a talented graphic designer who is a true team player and enthusiastic about working in the fashion, sports, and retail industries.
You will assist in the creation of marketing and collateral materials, catalogs, website graphics, apparel graphics, and much more.
As a graphic designer on our creative team, you must be ready and willing to take on a wide variety of projects and back up other team members, as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist fellow team members with the creation of visual content for email campaigns, social media, websites, products, packaging, etc.
- Assist with photo editing and image creation, managing files, and
- Manage projects and meet deadlines and expectations in a timely manner
- Create marketing materials including but not limited to emails, signage, line sheets, catalogs, etc.
- Conceptualize and create materials for retail locations, including banners, window graphics, display furniture, etc.
- Manage and coordinate all design requests from internal and external sources
- Ensure appropriate level of high end style & fashion is infused in all creative work consistent with the brand & target audience
- Assist the marketing team in the creation of marketing e-mail campaigns and social media content
- Product photography and editing
Essential Skills:
- High functioning knowledge of Apple Hardware
- Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified timeframe
- Very strong research skills, time management, and planning skills
- Must be extremely organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
- Ability and Desire to learn and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Must perform well under pressure
- Must be experienced in the Adobe Creative Suite in a Mac environment, with an emphasis on Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Must have a keen eye for color
- Must be able to interact and communicate clearly and confidently with internal clients to determine their visual communication needs, present ideas, and take a project from start to finish
- Must be familiar with current social media trends and be able to deliver fresh graphics that are consistent with those trends
- Must be able to take direction
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage time accordingly
Additional Beneficial Abilities:
- Video creation and editing
- Experience with modern web development techniques & technologies: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, jQuery,
- Understanding of File Sharing Platforms (Google-Drive, Monday.com, Media Valet, etc.),
Schedule:
- FULL TIME - Monday to Friday, 8:30-5:30 (40hrs/wk)
Education:
- Bachelor's (Preferred)

- Adobe Photoshop: 3 years
