Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree in Music with a focus on Audio Production or significant experience in a similar position.
- Experience with sound design for a competitive high school marching band or DCI Corps
- Must possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, be accommodating and adaptable and have excellent team-building capabilities.
- Required skills include knowledge of MainStage, recording software, and sound systems
- Strong collaboration skills are also essential.
- Serve as Technical Director for the USCHS Marching Band Production
- Coordinate completion of the sound system design while working with the marching band staff with costumes, and props.
- Revisions to the show based on feedback from the Marching Band Director and Set Designer.
- The technical director will set the work schedule for building the sound design based on facility availability.
- Work with students who have a range of academic levels and interpersonal capacities to develop individual skills as well as fostering a group work ethic within the student technical
- production team.
- Assist Marching Band Director and staff in scheduling technical support for rehearsals.
- Attend all production meetings with Marching Band Staff.
