Join a fast-growing MedTech startup as an Engineering Manager , where you'll lead a small team and collaborate closely with the product owner to drive the development of major features and spearhead the creation of new products. This "player / coach" role requires hand-on expertise in backend development (Ruby on Rails) and modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js).
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails and React / Next.js.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement technical solutions.
- Lead development of complex features and make key architectural decisions.
- Mentor developers and foster a collaborative engineering culture.
- Ensure high-quality code with TDD, peer reviews, and CI / CD practices.
- Optimize performance and manage third-party integrations (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2).
