Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse (Spokane Valley)
Upriver Place is an eight (8) bed Enhanced Services facility and Liberty Place is a sixteen (16) bed ESF serving individuals with Chronic and Persistent Mental Health Conditions. They are staffed 24 hours a day with nursing staff, 8 hours per day Mental Health Professional, and 24 hours per day with home care aide staff. Seeking a professional, qualified, and upbeat team member for the position of an RN or LPN. The ESF model of care follows a state standard minimum staffing ratio of 4 to 1.
The RN or LPN is responsible for patient treatment, medication administration, and providing excellent resident care. The LPN also collaborates with team members to address and mitigate crisis situations that may occur.
CURRENT POSITION AVAILABLE:
- NOC shift Monday through Thursday (11pm to 7am)
Job Description:
- Perform regular assessments on residents as required and necessary.
- Coordination and facilitation of in-house and off-site medical appointments.
- Assisting residents in the facility, ensure all safety measure will be observed and followed per care plan.
- Developing and maintaining a comprehensive and professional working relationship with residents, nurses, physicians, mental health providers.
- Scheduling and management of appointments.
- Completion of all license and job required continuing education.
- Engagement of residents in independent or self-directed activities.
- On Call
Qualifications:
- Licensed in the State of Washington as an LPN or RN
- CPR/First Aid
- Washington State Food Handlers Card
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to make independent decisions.
- Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
Additional Responsibilities -
Continuing Educational Requirement: Required to complete 12-hour of in-service training programs and an additional 12-hours of Population Specific Training annually.

- RN - $40-45 an hour - depending on experience
