What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Specialist Team Lead position at Upson Regional Medical Center?
Perform all job responsibilities of a Billing Specialist on a designated group of patient accounts assigned by payer classifications, including daily processing of claims, payer reports, uploads and transmission utilizing Quadax billing system. Act as fill-in for daily processing of claims when billers are on leave. Review accounts and assist billers when needed, including insuring billers are completing daily tasks and denials.
Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a billing specialist role.
