The Information Systems Director is a key position within hospital leadership, guiding the organization securely to meet key technology objectives. The IS Director leads the development and implementation processes for IS systems and the department. The position is responsible for the security of systems, networks, and enterprise information and ensures that IS and network infrastructure adequately supports the Hospitals' computing, data processing, and communication needs. This position is responsible to ensure the department provides efficient and effective technical support services and with all IS related projects.
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in computer science or related field, at least five years in a supervisory/leadership role, and highly preferred at least five years' experience working in healthcare. Prefer Master's Degree (MBA) and five or more years' healthcare experience and Meditech applications experience. Ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience with all aspects of IS and an ability to be a big picture thinker.
