Job Summary:
Manage and administer the Human Resources functions within the Department of Medicine, acting as a liaison with the main Human Resource Office, MedBest, Payroll Services, Office of Diversity and Inclusion and Employee/Labor Relations. Also assist other departments as an information resource. Supervise Human Resources Assistant to coordinate and manage HR functions.
Physician Recruitment
Coordinate all office and secretarial support functions of a department, office or major organizational sub-unit. Often assists exempt staff in areas such as recruiting and training, budget preparation, and data analysis. Responsible for efficient operation of all administrative/secretarial support functions, issues and interprets office operating policies and procedures, and prepares reports including conclusions and recommendations for solutions to administrative
problems. In some cases may also have responsibility for overseeing office or department technical support, although this in not a necessary component of the position. Usually supervises support staff.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or pertinent college level courses and four years of administrative/office management experience including supervisory experience. Will consider equivalent combination of education and experience.
