The Business Intelligence (BI) Manager will be a strategic thinker who can manage day-to-day operations, communicate effectively with senior management, and lead a team of senior professionals. They will create strategic and operational value from both established and emerging technologies for our customers, stakeholders, and associates.
PRIMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead both business and IT associates through the design and implementation of a fully realized analytic capability, including development and support capabilities.
- Drive analytic strategic planning initiatives to ensure alignment with strategic business goals.
- Identify and maintain staffing levels and roles (Technical, Functional, Security, and Reporting) to ensure alignment.
- Engage and direct third-party partners/contractors as needed.
- Manage all analytic application licenses, including allocation, negotiation, and annual true-up.
- Develop and manage required analytic capabilities in a distributed multi-cloud environment.
- Develop and implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and KPIs for analytic operations.
- Design and oversee a publishing process, including management and executive-level reporting and dashboard creation.
- Develop staffing strategies, including training and education plans for all developers and consumers of analytic services.
- Oversee analytical activities associated with future enhancements to the analytics platforms.
- Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to understand their goals and identify how applications, platforms, or services can help achieve strategic objectives.
- Ensure security measures are in place to protect confidential data and comply with government mandates.
- Establish a framework for recruiting, retaining, and developing high-performing staff.
- Develop and monitor the analytics budget for enterprise applications, platforms, and services.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- IT Architecture experience (a plus).
- Experience with SAP and Microsoft Fabric (a plus).
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry (a plus).
- Experience deploying and managing cloud solutions.
Pay:
$125,000-$156,000 a year*
- The salary range indicated in this posting represents the minimum and maximum of the salary range for this position. Actual salary will vary depending on factors including, but not limited to, budget available, prior experience, knowledge, skill and education as they relate to the position’s qualifications, in addition to internal equity. The posted salary range reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components of the total rewards package may include participation in group health and/or dental insurance, retirement plan, wellness program, paid time away from work, and paid holidays.
