At Weitsman Recycling - Upstate Shredding, we are on the hunt for a dynamic, results-oriented Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to head our financial operations. As a vital member of our executive leadership team, the CFO will navigate complex financial territories to enhance profitability and drive sustainable growth. This role is perfect for someone who excels in a fast-paced environment and possesses a strong knack for financial management and strategic planning, particularly within the industrial and recycling sectors.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with our company's overarching goals.
• Lead the finance department, managing cash, financial planning, and budgeting processes.
• Compile and present precise quarterly and annual financial reports to the management team and stakeholders.
• Ensure all financial and tax reporting complies with relevant laws and regulations.
• Foster and maintain relationships with banks, investors, and external partners.
• Guide the creation of budgets and financial forecasts, offering insights to maximize financial performance and opportunities.
• Engage in critical decision-making as part of the executive management team.
• Oversee day-to-day financial operations and the development of long-term financial strategies with your team.
• Set up and refine internal controls and protocols for financial information and systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is essential.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in financial management within sizable organizations.
• Deep understanding of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles, and Automated Financial and Accounting Reporting Systems.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and various financial management software.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead teams to high performance.
