Job Summary
The Field Operations Intern will work closely with our field operations team to support various construction and paving projects. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain practical experience in field operations, project management, and construction processes, while contributing to the successful execution of projects.
Main Responsibilities
Assist field supervisors and project managers in daily operations and project execution.
Observe and learn about construction methods, equipment usage, and project workflows.
Participate in site visits, taking notes and documenting project progress and challenges.
Help with the preparation of project documentation, including reports and daily logs.
Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with safety regulations and practices.
Assist in coordinating materials and equipment needed for construction activities.
Provide support in communicating with subcontractors and vendors as needed.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to develop industry knowledge and skills.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Strong interest in construction operations and project management.
Good understanding of construction terminology and processes is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and adapt to various tasks.
Willingness to work outdoors and in different weather conditions.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
