L2 Application Support Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled L2 Application Support Engineer with expertise in Unix, PL/SQL, AppDynamics (AppD), and Splunk
The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining critical applications, ensuring seamless functionality and minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2 support for business-critical applications, ensuring high availability and performance.
Monitor and analyze application performance using AppDynamics (AppD) and Splunk.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Unix/Linux environments and PL/SQL databases.
Investigate and diagnose application failures, logs, and alerts to identify root causes.
Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and L3 support teams for issue resolution and improvements.
Perform incident management, including root cause analysis (RCA) and post-incident reporting.
Automate routine tasks and improve monitoring for proactive issue resolution.
Participate in on-call support rotation and ensure timely resolution of production issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5 years of experience in Application Support (L2) in a production environment.
Strong expertise in Unix/Linux commands & shell scripting.
Hands-on experience with PL/SQL for querying and troubleshooting database-related issues.
Proficiency in AppDynamics (AppD) for application monitoring and performance tuning.
Experience with Splunk for log analysis, monitoring, and alerting.
Understanding of incident, problem, and change management processes.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, 24x7 production support environment.
