Our client, based in NYC, is a prestigious Independent Investment Advisory Firm with an illustrious 4-decade history. They are actively seeking an experienced Private Wealth Manager to enhance their distinguished team.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of Wealth Management experience, with a comprehensive understanding of investment policy planning, asset allocation, and portfolio implementation. Above all, the Advisor will be dedicated to delivering unparalleled client service.
*Transitional Bonus Based on Production*
Responsibilities:
- Provide bespoke, comprehensive investment strategies and services to clients.
- Exhibit a proven record of client retention and the capability to expand a book of business.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Increase brand visibility and market services strategically.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and maintain advanced financial knowledge.
- Leverage and expand an established network of referrals.
- Partner with the home office to manage and optimize clients’ financial portfolios.
- Oversee portfolio management and ensure exceptional client retention.
- Fulfill all Continuing Education requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience in wealth management, financial advisory, or related financial services, demonstrating a history of success.
- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team to achieve shared goals.
- Proficiency in computer applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Clean U4.
- Must hold FINRA Series 7 or 65.
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience managing a client portfolio with $25MM in Portable AUM.
Transition Team is ready to support Advisors in transitioning their existing client base.
