HR Generalist
Job Summary:
This position requires a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional. The HR Generalist will be responsible for managing various HR functions including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This role requires an individual who can work effectively in a dynamic environment and is committed to fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Handle the full cycle of payroll processing, including the calculation of wages, overtime, deductions, and bonuses.
- Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, dental, vision, STD,LTD, Life Insurance, retirement plans (401K), and any other company benefits.
- Recruitment and Staffing: Manage the recruitment process from job posting to hiring, ensuring a smooth and efficient candidate experience.
- Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, helping to foster a supportive work environment.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Training and Development: Assist in the development and implementation of training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Performance Management: Support the performance review process and work with managers to ensure effective employee performance and development.
- HR Records Management: Maintain accurate and confidential human resources files and records.
- Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in human resources.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.
- SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.
