Pay rate : $77,600 - $95,400

Shift : Monday through Friday

Hours : Days

This position reports directly to the CFO.

Job Summary

This position safeguard Uptown Community Health Center's assets through monthly accounting operations and internal controls, and ensures accurate and Compliant financial reporting.

Role Specific Duties

Analyzes financial data, making recommendations as appropriate to improve accuracy, efficiency, and to reduce
Generate and present regular and ad-hoc reports for departments and UCHC
Analyze accounts booked and journal entries for complex accounting
Inspects the budget and general ledger for assigned departments and accounts, ensuring that funds are available, and expenditures are assigned correctly.
Review and preparation of financial statements and records provided to federal, state, and internal auditors and similar
As appropriate, identifies and recommends updates to accounting systems and
Develop solutions for complex accounting including joint ventures, acquisitions, starting up new facilities - created new protocol,
Complete contract analysis for joint ventures, acquisitions, starting up new facilities - created new protocol,
Responsible for managing scope and completion of work, meeting deadlines, and providing deliverables to the customers or end users.
Manages projects, schedules and facilitates meetings as necessary to complete
Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures and quality standards.
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

Required :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business with four years of professional experience conducting and evaluating routine financial analysis. Degree must be obtained through an accredited institution. Education is verified.

Experience in a role with budgeting and finance tracking responsibilities.

Experience in a role requiring effective project management skills, a high degree of accuracy, and sound decision making with limited supervision.

Experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail, and scheduling applications.

Experience in a role requiring effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred :

Masters of Accountancy degree OR MBA

Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Knowledge of Healthcare finances and financial processes.

Knowledge of Federally Qualified Health Center financial requirements.

Salary : $77,600 - $95,400
