Position Overview:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Manual QA to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for manually testing software applications to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Validate bug fixes and enhancements to ensure product quality.
- Create and maintain test documentation and reports.
- Participate in test planning and estimation sessions.
- Ensure adherence to QA best practices and company standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4 years of experience in manual software testing.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to write clear and concise test cases and bug reports.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience testing web and mobile applications.
- Knowledge of SQL and API testing.
- Basic understanding of automation testing tools.
- Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB).
