Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for Teaching Staff at Urban Dove, located in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The Teaching Staff will be responsible for creating and implementing lesson plans, developing curriculum, educating and engaging students, and fostering a supportive and inclusive classroom environment. They will also play a key role in utilizing sports, teams, restorative practices, and mentoring to create a culture of high expectations and shared responsibility.
Qualifications
- Experience in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development
- Strong Communication skills
- Background in Education and Teaching
- Ability to work collaboratively with students and staff
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Experience working with over-age/under-credited high school students is a plus
