THE OPPORTUNITY :
We're looking for a Staff Backend Infrastructure Engineer to help scale and improve our infrastructure as we grow. In a little over a year, we're already used by more than a million teachers worldwide, and we're excited to grow even faster in 2025. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving infrastructure challenges in a rapidly evolving environment, loves solving complex problems, and can balance reliability with rapid product development.
You'll be part of a small, high-impact engineering team, collaborating closely with product, design, and leadership. You'll drive key infrastructure projects end-to-end, empowering our developers to build and deploy securely at scale.
YOU WILL :
- Design, build, and maintain core infrastructure that supports Brisk's products and engineering teams.
- Enhance system reliability and scalability, ensuring seamless performance as our user base expands well past one million teachers.
- Work across cloud services (AWS, Google Could, Azure), CI / CD pipelines, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate with product engineers to ensure smooth development workflows and production stability.
- Lead efforts in observability, monitoring, incident response, and automation.
- Lead architectural decisions for reliability, scalability, and security, ensuring an infrastructure that supports both rapid development and long-term stability.
