What are the responsibilities and job description for the Key Manager position at Urban Egg?
A Key Manager directs and controls the effective and efficient operation of the restaurant, which may include the absence of the GM or AGM. Most Key Managers fill other roles as well, including for example, Server or Bartender/Barista.
Responsibilities
- Drive guest satisfaction and build repeat business through individual efforts in and out of the store.
- Build community relations with guests dining in the restaurant
- Responsible for enforcing Urban Egg guidelines for doing business and take full responsibility for coaching and developing staff during the shift.
- Assists in executing directives that drive sales to achieve and or exceed budgeted numbers for store.
- Key Managers are responsible for setting examples for other staff to follow.
- Key Managers enforce bar policies to meet company objectives.
- Key Managers are responsible for opening and or closing duties, which includes balancing cash drawers and securing the restaurant at the close of business.

Paid Sick Leave-Colorado
Per the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act ("HFWA"), RMRG provides the following paid leave to all employees working in a Colorado-based location:
Accrued Paid Sick Leave
Up to 48 hours of paid leave per year, for the use of a variety of health and safety needs. Employees earn 1 hour of leave for every 30 hours worked. Leave is paid at the same pay rate as time worked.
Public Health Emergency (PHE) Leave
Up to 80 hours of PHE-related paid leave when a PHE is declared. The PHE leave is for COVID-related needs only as of 1/8/23. Leave is paid at the same pay rate as time worked, except for category 3 (care for someone else), which is paid at 2/3 pay.
